This series began as a light-hearted attempt to express my pleasure in a delightful visit to Italy and somehow found its way onto my personal favourites list. My iPhone is always with me, the instant sketchbook I use to record fleeting moments, ideas and memories, a frivolous but essential partner for my ‘serious’ camera gear.  Also, just because it isn’t a ‘real’ camera, it encourages a more spontaneous, playful approach that I find quite liberating.  No wonder it was perfect for my holiday mood and the subjects I was photographing in Italy.
